Why heat protection is important for dogs

Dogs feel most comfortable when the outside temperature is below 20°C/70°F . Panting is the only way to cool the body at higher temperatures, Panting (up to 300x per minute) causes a higher heart rate and therefore an additional strain, especially in older dogs. The cooling areas of our cooling vest for dogs have been designed in close consultation with veterinarians so that the dog's chest is optimally covered and thus the dog's circulation is optimally supported. This effectively prevents heat stress.
