  2. As soon as the ambient temperature warms up above 21 ° Celsius , the material slowly absorbs the thermal energy of the environment without heating itself! It melts slowly.   As long as the material has not completely liquefied, the temperature is constantly 21 ° Celsius . This process takes 1-3 hours depending on the ambient temperature.

  3. If the ambient temperature drops below 21 ° Celsius, the PCM crystallizes again, ie as soon as it has returned to the solid state, it is reactivated. This process can be repeated up to 100,000 times.

  4. If you want to speed up the reactivation process, you can simply put the PCM in the fridge.
In contrast to gel cool packs, which heat up very quickly, the PCM pack maintains its constant temperature for a long time.
